India’s COVID-19 cases cross 6.3 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 86,748 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 6,310,267.

Currently, 941,552 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 5,270,007 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 98,000-mark.

With 1,179 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 98,708, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
