TAPLEJUNG: The lightning accompanied by a thunderstorm has taken the life of a young woman on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Gopi Bhattarai, a local of Phungling-11, Mayam, a 23-year-old woman of the locality has been struck dead by lightning.
Bhattarai said that Durga Bhattarai, 23, who went unconscious after being struck by lightning never came back to life again.
The dead body is being taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
