Three houses buried in landslides in Darchula



DARCHULA: Three houses have been buried while dozens are reeling under high risk of landslides at Mahakali municipality-2, Maikholi in the district on Saturday.

According to the district police office, no human casualties were reported in the incident. The houses of Gagan Parki, Kalu Bhul and Lalitram Parki were taken away by the landslide.

District Police Office (DPO)’s information officer Bhaskar Chand shared that the Khar-Khalanga road section has been completely obstructed due to landslides. Police further shared the locals who were at high risk are being shifted to safer zones.
