NA nominates members in its thematic committees

KATHMANDU: National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has nominated members in its different thematic committees based on the name list of the members received from the parliamentary parties representing in the NA.

The nomination was made on the recommendation of the business advisory committee at a time when there is no NA session taking place.

According to a notice issued by the NA, Kabita Botagi, Chakra Prasad Snehi, Jag Prasad Sharma, Tara Devi Bhatta, Dinanath Sharma and Nandra Chapagain were nominated as members in the Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee. Likewise, other members nominated in the Committee are Mahesh Kumar Mahara, Maya Prasad Sharma, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, Bimala Ghimire, Sharada Devi Bhatta and Singa Bahadur Bishwokarma.

Similarly, members nominated in the Delegated Management and Government Assurance Committee are Agam Prasad Bantawa Rai, Gopal Bhattarai, Chandra Bahadur Khadka, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, Narapati Luwar, Nainkala Ojha, Radhe Shyam Adhikari, Ram Narayan Bidari, Bina Pokharel, Shanti Kumari Adhikari GC, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Sumitra BC and Hari Ram Chaudhary.

Lawmakers Anita Devkota, Indira Devi Gautam, Iindu Kadariya, Udaya Sharma, Komal Oli, Khimlal Bhattarai, Gopi Bahadur Sarki and Deepa Gurung were nominated in the National Concerns and Coordination Committee.
Also nominated in the same committee are Dil Bahadur Rawal, Narayankaji Shrestha, Ramchandra Rai, Ramlakhan Chamar, Shekhar Kumar Singh and Suman Raj Pyakurel.

Likewise, the Legislation Management Committee comprises Khim Kumar BK, Jitendra Narayan Dev, Jeevan Budha, Thagendra Prasad Puri, Taraman Swar, Devendra Dahal, Parshuram Meghi Gurung and Prakash Pantha.
Chair Timilsina has nominated Prameela Kumari, Beduram Bhusal, Bhagawati Neupane, Bhairab Sundar Shrestha, Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Radheshyam Paswan and Dr. Bimala Rai Poudel in the Legislation Management Committee.
