Under Secretary Prem Sanjel attacked at workplace



BIRATNAGAR: Under Secretary Prem Sanjel has been attacked by his collogues at his workplace on Friday.

Morang Police Chief Superintendent of Police Santosh Khadka said that Chief of Labor and Employment Office, Biratnagar Sanjel was attacked by two women employees over a dispute related to official works.

The incident took place on Friday afternoon but was revealed only today. Police Spokesperson Man Bahadur Rai said that the matter is being discussed at the District Police Office.

Police said that Sanjel was hit by various items placed on the table, adding that he has sustained injuries in different parts of his body.

The law enforcement agency said that those behind the attack have been nabbed and a further investigation was underway.
