Youth arrested for creating fake facebook ID



KATHMANDU: A youth has been arrested on the charge of posting indecent pictures and messages in the social media.

The cyber bureau of Nepal Police arrested Sabin Raj Mishra of Tanahu on Friday.

Mishra has been charged of making a fake facebook ID of a 13-year-old girl of Bhanu municipality in Tanahu district, and sending indecent pictures and messages to her relatives, according to spokesperson of the bureau SSP Nabindra Aryal.

The accused had been released on a bail from the District Court, Kathmandu after facing charges as per the Electronic Transaction Act, 2063.

He was remanded to seven days in judicial custody by the same court on the latest offense.
