JANAKPURDHAM: Keeping in view the widespread of coronavirus pandemic, the District Administration Office Dhanusha has introduced a 14-day mandatory provision for people who enter Janakpurdham from elsewhere.

According to Kosh Hari Niraula, the Chief District Officer of Dhanusha, the district has made the provision mandatory for people who enter Janakpurdham from other districts.

Niraula said the authorities, were, however, liberal on letting the in-comers choose between the home quarantine and the quarantine set up by the local authority.

“As the number of cases are increasing in the district, as per the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, we have decided to enforce the mandatory provision of quarantine for everyone coming to this densely populated town,” CDO Niraula said.

Earlier, the Ministry had directed the district administration offices to arrange for the transportation and enforce the quarantine provisions especially in the densely populated towns like Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Janakpurdham, Bhairahawa, Butwal, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara.
