PM Oli calls ministers to Baluwatar for consultation



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called ministers to Baluwatar to hold a meeting on Wednesday morning.

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had asked Prime Minister Oli to resign from his post in the Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday.

Seventeen leaders including top-notch leaders asked Prime Minister Oli to step down.

Oli has called a meeting with ministers for political consultations on Wednesday after he was asked to resign from both of his posts yesterday.

PM Oli has been taking charge as the Prime Minister for two and a half years.

Disgruntled leaders in the party have called for Oli’s resignation alleging him for taking decisions unilaterally.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior leaders Jhala Nath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice President Bam Dev Gautam and party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha had asked Oli to resign from his post in the SC meeting yesterday.
