Home Ministry transfers 12 CDOs

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of 12 districts.
The Ministry transferred the CDOs of the district as per the regular transfer, assignment and posting of 44 Joint Secretaries and Under Secretaries.

According to the Home Ministry, the CDOs of Surkhet, Palpa, Mahottari, Kalikot, Doti, Bardiya, Darchula, Okhaldhunga, Sankhuwasabha, Rolpa, Humla and Bajhang have been transferred.

Most of the transferred CDOs are officers who have lived in the district for more than a year.
Highly-placed sources have said that some of them have been transferred on the basis of their performance.
