25 persons discharged after recovery from COVID-19 in Rupendehi



BUTWAL: As many as 25 persons have returned home after recovery from COVID-19 from the Bhairahawa-based Bhim Hospital of Rupandehi district on Monday.

Dr. Navin Darnal, Medical Superintendent of Bhim Hospital informed that 16 people from Rupandehi, five from Kapilvastu, three from Nawalparasi and one from Gonda in India returned home after recovery today.

Out of them, 10 are from Gaindhawa Rural Municipality of Rupandehi. A woman and seven men, including a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old girl from Gaindhawa, have been discharged. The girl and the woman are mother and daughter.

Similarly, five from Lumbini Cultural Municipality and one from Siddharthnagar Municipality have also been discharged today.

Similarly, four from Kapilvastu Municipality and one from Vijayanagar Municipality also discharged.

Two persons from Susta Municipality, one from Pratappur Rural Municipality and three from West Nawalparasi have been recovered and discharged.

According to Dr. Darnal, all the recovered persons were tested negative for the time in 14 days and on Sunday. They were admitted before 20 days after they have been detected positive for the COVID-19.

Hospital has made an arrangement to bring more infected people from Kapilvastu after all the 25 patients in the hospital discharged today.
