COVID-19 cases jump to 27 in Gandaki Pradesh



KATHMANDU: The number of infection cases has reached 27 in Gandaki Pradesh after three new cases were confirmed on Monday morning.

According to a press release issued by Health Division Service under the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, two people of Kawasoti municipality and one from Binayatribeni rural municipality in Nawalparasi (Bardagath Susta East) have been confirmed infected with the COVID-19.

Dr Binod Bindu Sharma at the Health Division Service said the infected are males aged 22 and 36 of Kawasoti municipality and 14-year-old boy of Binayatribeni rural municipality. They had been kept in quarantine based in Kawasoti municipality.

Preparations are underway to take them to District Hospital, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), said Dr. Sharma.
