Indian national held with gold at TIA



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested an Indian national with a half kilogram of gold at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday morning.

The arrested has been identified as Sunil Hariram.

A joint team from the TIA police and Custom Officials arrested him with the gold during a security check after he landed at the TIA by a flight of Flydubai Airbus.

Hariram had concealed the gold in his rectum, according to police.

Police said they are carrying out investigation on him after taking him into judicial custody.
