HoR Speaker from ruling party itself: Minister Baskota



KANCHANPUR: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Baskota today said that the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) will be elected from the ruling party itself.

Minister Baskota, also the government spokesman, said there are leaders in the ruling party who deserve to become the Speaker.

“The top-level leaders of the ruling party have agreed on this post,” Minister Baskota said, adding that the issue would be settled soon.

Speaking at a program in Kanchanpur today, he further stated that the government was leading the country ahead towards progress.

“Prosperity is the national agenda,” he said adding, “The government is moving forward in the reconstruction and revival after entering the new age.”
