Four rhinos die in CNP in the last two months



CHITWAN: Four rhinos have died inside the Chitwan National Park (CNP) in the last two months.

A 40-year-old rhino was found dead on October 26 in Raptidun buffer zone community forest in Bharatpur, according to CNP’s information officer Gopal Ghimire.

The rhino died due to natural cause, Ghimire said.

The other three rhinos were found dead on October 16, September 22 and August 28.

They died from natural causes, according to Ghimire. Last year, a total of 41 rhinos died from natural causes.
