Curfew in Kapilvastu as tension flares between Hindu and Muslim people



KATHMANDU: Local administration has clamped curfew at Krishnanagar in Kapilvastu district after tension flared between Hindu Community and Muslim Community on Thursday.

The situation turned tense between the two religious communities after Hindus were consigning the idol after worshipping Laxmi Puja.

Some youths from Muslim Community protested when Hindu people were consigning the idol of goddess Laxmi at Jhandinagar of Krishnanagar this morning, said District Police Office, Kapilvastu.
