Three injured in rhino attack in west Nepal



BARDIYA: Three persons have sustained injuries in an attack by a rhino at Barbardiya Municipality of the district on Sunday morning.

A rhino that came out from Ranipur jungle attacked them as they had gone to Kusumbaghat to observe a newly-constructed suspension bridge.

The injured are Ram Prasad Tharu, 39, of Barbardiya-4, Jungali Tharu, 65, of Barbardiya-5 and Shikha Tharu, 10, of Barbardiya-4.

According to police, among the injured two are in critical condition and have been taken to the Kohalpur-based Teaching Hospital for treatment.
