DHADHING: Five cadres of the banned Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand have surrendered to the district police.

They claimed that they were named as members of the group’s Galchhi village committee without their knowledge.

Those who surrendered are Dhurba Prasad Khanal of Galchhi Rural Municipality-3, Bishnu Prasad Khatiwada of Chhagetar, Keshab Raj Khatiwada and Dipendra Kumar Shrestha.

The police made public their identity after they confessed that they quit the group amid a press conference.
