CHANDRANIGAHAPUR: Two siblings have drowned in a ditch at a brick kiln in Chandrapur municipality-8, Dumariya on Wednesday, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Kalpana Sah, 8, and her 11-year-old brother Anis Sah – children of Sanjay Sah of Haripur municipality-4 of the district and currently living in Dumariya, according to police.

Sanjay Sah runs a motorcycle garage at Dumariya.

The incident occurred when the kids were playing near the ditch, police said. The bodies have been taken at Chandranigahapur Hospital for post-mortem.
