Govt to announce vacancies for 6,000 seats

KATHMANDU: The government is making preparations to announce vacancies for around 6,000 seats through the Public Service Commission in line with the demands of the local units.

Preparations are underway to induct staffers in the local units prior to the Dashain festival from the vacancies announced in May, said Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lalbabu Pandit.

The government had announced vacancies for 9,161 posts at the request of 515 local units out of 753 local units.
