NOTTINGHAM: West Indies thrashed Pakistan by seven wickets to kick off their World Cup 2019 campaign on an impressive note.

West Indies bundled Pakistan for a meager 105 runs. Chasing the target, the Carribean opener Chriss Gayle smashed a 34-ball half century while unbeaten Nicholas Pooran contributed with 19-ball 34 runs to ensure victory.
