KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport is mulling laws to regulate Tootle and Phathao services.

The two-wheeler services brought into use for some two years were carrying the passengers in the capital city without proper regulation owing to lack of laws.

The Ministry is now making the law to regulate the operation and management of the Pathao and Tootle. The services are provided by the motorcycle ensuring any passenger a pillion ride. Ministry Spokesperson Shivahari Sapkota informed that though people were provided service by the Tootle and Pathao, there was a security concern.

With the law in place, relief amount to the persons facing accident and passengers insurance would be included.

At a time when the made traffic jam is commonplace in the capital city, the Tootle and Pathao service have been a popular choice to reach the destination on time.
