Umesh Patwal in line to be nat’l cricket team head coach

KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council (ICC) is preparing to pick Indian cricketer Umesh Patwal as Head Coach of Nepal National Cricket Team.

Patwal is currently engaged with the national team as batting consultant.

Sources at National Sports Council (NSC), confirmed that the international cricketing body is appointing Patwal to the post for one year.

Jagat Tamata has been currently coaching the national cricket team and will be replaced by Patwal who had earlier led the Afghanistan National Cricket Team.
