KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada has claimed that the budget of the fiscal year 2019/20 will help achieve 8.5 % economic growth.

Finance Minister Khatiwada has boasted of allocating sufficient budget in the infrastructure, too.

However, opposition leaders and finance experts have termed the budget ‘distributive’ after Khatiwada allotted Rs 60 million 60 for lawmakers’ development fund, allowance for the elderly.
