One killed as scooter rams into truck



CHANDRAUTA: One person died after a motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck stopped at police check point on Saturday night.

The accident took place at Shivaraj Municipality-5, Chandrauta. The deceased has been identified as Sani Tharu, 22, a resident of Bhulahi-1.

Tharu was driving his motorcycle, Lu 48 Pa 6928, when it rammed into the truck, Na 6 Kha 4125, said police. Seriously injured Tharu died during treatment at the Sanjibini community hospital.
