Thirteen injured as truck hits parked bus

NARAYANGADH: Thirteen passengers were injured when a truck hit a parked bus along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section today.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the truck (Na 5 Kha 9197) en route to Surkhet from Kathmandu struck the bus (Na 4 Kha 9819) from the backside as it was parked following a technical problem.

Passengers on the bus have been injured and they are being treated at the Old Medical College and Chitwan Medical College, District Police Office Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police, Yek Narayan Koirala, said.
