Voting halted for 20 minutes as bomb goes off at three polling centers in Pokhara

KASKI: Explosions have taken place at three voting centers in Kaski district. Bombs have been detonated at Armala, Bagmarae and Nawaprabhat Secondary School voting centers.

The voting was adjourned for around 20 minutes following the bomb blasts.

The situation now has turned normal and the voting has resumed, said Chief District Officer Tek Narayan Paudel.

DPO, Kaski has not yet identified who was involved in the explosion even though it took place near the police station.

Police said they are investigating the case and trying to nab the miscreant.
