One killed in accident



BHAKTAPUR: A person died while another injured when a bus hit them in Kamalbinayak of Bhaktapur last night.

The deceased has been identified as Bikas Tamang of Dandapari of Kavre. Seriously injured Bikas breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Madhyapur Thimi Hospital.

Bishal Tamang of Bhaktapur has been injured in the accident.

The bus driver was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

The accident occurred when the bus heading toward Byasi from Kamal Binayak hit them last night.

Police have arrested the driver, Balaram Jyakho of Kamal Binayak. An investigation is underway, police said.
