Two killed, five injured in Achham jeep fall



ACHHAM: A jeep met with an accident at Mellek Rural Municipality-7, Nandegada on Friday evening killing two passengers and injuring seven others.

The jeep, Se 1 Ja 986, heading to Mallek from Safhebagar skidded off the road and fell some 300 meters down the road causing the fatalities, according to police.

The deceased are Kaushi Saud, 30, and Kinthi Saud, 31, of Mellek-7, said DSP Janak Bahadur Shahi.

Those injured in the mishap are Nrip Saud, Janak Saud, Sajjan Saud, Manisha Upadhyaya and one person who is yet to be ascertained. They have been rushed to Bayalpata Hospital for treatment.
