CIAA drags six to court for graft

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed a case against six persons including Chief Administration Officer of Janakpur Sub Metropolitan City Arjun Prasad Subedi on the charge of bribery.

The anti-graft body filed the graft case against Subedi, Deputy Secretary Madan Ghimire, Section Officer Lalan Kumar Lal Karna, accountant Dinesh Chaudhary, Naya Subba Abdul Jabbar and Manoj Kumar Mishra of Satya Enterprise.

They have been accused of misappropriating over Rs one million while purchasing electrical equipment.
