Nepal’s 14-member squad announced for ICC World T20 Asia Finals



KATHMANDU: A 14-member team has been selected for the ICC World T20 Asia Finals 2019. The team is led by captain Paras Khadka.

The squad was selected from the preliminary 24-man team. Nepal’s Head Coach Umesh Patwal announced the team at a press meets on Sunday.

The team members are Captain Paras Khadka, Vice Captain Gyanendra Malla, Basanta Regmi, Binod Bhandari, Deependra Singh Airee, Karan KC, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Avinash Bohara, Pawan Saraff, Pradeep Airee, Rohit Kumar Poudel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sharad Veshwakar and Sompal Kami.

Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel, Jitendra Kumar Muhikya, Sushan Bhari and Arif Seikh have been selected as reserved players.

Nepal will play the qualifiers to be held in Singapore from July 20-28. Nepal will face Qatar in its first match on July 23.
