Foreign policy should be centered on national interest: Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that foreign policy of the nation should be centered on the nation and national interest.

Addressing a program with the theme of ‘National Dialogue on Foreign Policy’ organized in the federal capital, Kathmandu on Saturday, former Prime Minister Dahal favored maintaining balanced relations with neighboring countries.

He also said that foreign investment would be required to realize the government’s goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepalis’.

He also said that all political parties should have a common understanding of foreign policy.
