Public holiday announced for Eid al-Fitr

KATHMANDU: The government has announced public holiday on June 6 on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, informed Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota at a regular press meet on Thursday.

Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan.

Likewise, the government has sacked member secretary of Lumbini Development Fund Bishnu Prasad Dhakal. A recent meeting of Council of Ministers had taken the decision.
