Nepse down by 4 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) went down by 4.21 to settle at 1310.31 points on Monday. Similarly, sensitive index also plunged by 1.01 at rest at 281.84 points.

The index climbed over 1,320 points briefly in the morning but pulled back sharply to hit 1,300 points. However,, stocks recouped most of its losses in the latter trading hours.

The benchmark index witnessed a transaction of 3 million 16 million units of shares worth Rs 1 billion 197 million 700 thousand from 174 companies.

On Sunday Nepse witnessed a transaction of 176 companies while on Monday it came down by 380 million rupees.
