My health is improving, PM Oli tells Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday took stock of the health condition of Prime Minister KP Oli recuperating after surgery for appendicitis.

Dahal reached the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center at around 6:40 pm this evening and met the ailing prime minister.

The leaders were also engaged in a brief conversation.

According to Dahal’s Personal Secretariat, PM Oli told Dahal that his health condition has been improving.

Dahal also consulted with the doctors attending to the prime minister who briefed him that PM’s heath has been improving as expected.

PM Oli underwent successful surgery for appendicitis at the center on November 26.

The doctors involved in his treatment said the prime minister, who is receiving care at the intensive care unit, is out of a life-threatening condition as there are improvements in his health.
