SUNSARI: Police on Friday evening arrested Krishnadas Giri known as ‘Siddhababa’ to investigate an alleged rape charge leveled against him.
Nepal Police Spokesperson Bishworaj Pokharel informed that Giri was arrested from his ashram in Chatara.
Earlier today, Sunsari District Court had issued an arrest warrant against him.
Giri has been accused of raping his follower at his ashram in Chatara of the district on October 21. A rape case was lodged against him at the court on Thursday.
