Indian national entering Nepal with pistol gets one year in jail

SAPTARI: An Indian national who entered Nepal for having booze carrying a pistol has been sentenced to one year in jail.

A single bench of Judge Chandramani Gyawali sent Ramesh Kumar Mandal, 22, of Bihar to one year in jail and ordered a fine of Rs 10,000.

Mandal was arrested with a home-made pistol when he was heading to India after consuming booze in Nepal.
