UK PM Johnson says he would not step down

MANCHESTER: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he would not step down to avoid having to delay Brexit.

Johnson had earlier pledged to take Britain out of the EU with or without a deal.

The British Prime Minister said he would prefer to be “dead in a ditch” that requests a delay.

In an interview, PM Johnson said he would not quit since he has undertaken to lead the party and the country at a difficult time. (Agencies)
