The World Heart Day is being celebrated on Sunday raising awareness to adopt a healthy lifestyle to keep your heart healthy.

Studies have found that heart attack is one of the leading causes of death in several countries across the globe, and India is no exception.

Prevalence of heart disease and strokes has increased by 50 percent from 1990 to 2016, say experts adding that it is essential to take necessary preventive measures and make them part of one’s lifestyle to keep your heart healthy.

Here are five ways to keep your heart healthy.
