17-year-old girl raped in Kalanki, two arrested

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons from Kathmandu Metropolis-14, Kalanki on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.

According to police, the arrested are Rabin Shrestha, 23, of Gajuri Municipality-1 of Dhading and Madan Thapa Magar, 30, of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality of the same district.

They have been accused of raping the girl from Dailkeh at a hotel room in Kalanki.

Police said they are investigating the case further.
