Three killed in separate Pokhara road accidents



KASKI: Two people died and three sustained injuries in two separate accidents in Pokhara. According to District Police Office, Kaski, 18-year-old Jagbin Pun died in a motorcycle-scooter collision that occurred at Gaindakot of Pokhara Metropolitan City-32. Pun, who originally hails from Pokhara, was riding pillion on the scooter, said DSP Raj Kumar KC.

Critically injured Pun, who was rushed to Pokhara Academy of Health Science for treatment,  died in course of treatment. Others sustained in the accident include Bikal Sunar of Lekhnath Bhandardhik, Dipak BK of Rupa-7 and Nishan Gurung of Archalbot, Pokhara.

Likewise, 28-year-old Thaman Paija of Kirtipur, Kathmandu died in a motorcycle accident at Talchowk of Lekhnath along the Prithvi Highway last night, police said.
