Seven held on theft charge in Rupandehi

RUPANDEHI: Police have arrested seven people for their involvement in theft and robberies in the district.

The arrested are Abdul Hamid Musalman of Lumbini Sanskritik Muncipality-11, Kalu Mallah of Shuddhodan Rural Municipality-6, Gagan Gurung, Man Bahadur Bhandari of Kanchan Rural Municipality-5, Om Prakash Rautar of Kanchanpur Rural Municipality-4 and Dipak Chaudhary of Kapilvastu Banganga Municipality-10, said DSP Dharma Raj Bhandari.

Police have recovered six motorcycles along with them. They are investigating the case after taking them under control, said Bhandari.
