KATHMANDU: The government has announced to collect an additional Rs 1 tax in petroleum products aimed at the construction of roads. With this, petroleum products will become dearer.

Likewise, the government has announced to construct underpasses and flyovers in Koteshwor, New Baneshwor and Tripureshwor of the capital city.

The new roads to be constructed by the government will be of two lanes, Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada announced.
