Rs 7.14 billion allocated for labor and employment



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 7.14 billion for the labor and employment.

Presenting the budget in the federal parliament, Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada said the government has allocated Rs 5.1 billion for the Prime Minister Employment Program.

Similarly, the government has allocated Rs 64.50 billion for the Social Security Fund. Likewise, the government has planned to provide the employment to 83,000 youths in the fiscal year.
