NTC unveils roaming service in India and China



KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NTC) has unveiled the ‘Prepaid International Roaming Service’ for its prepaid users. According to Pratima Baidhya, the Spokesperson of NTC, the service is available in India and china from today.

Now, the prepaid users can call their relatives in Nepal through their own numbers while in India and China. Similarly, the users can receive calls and SMS, too.

Similarly, subscribers can call on local telecom operators’ numbers via NTC.

Subscribers have to pay Rs 90 per minute to call in Nepal and Rs 50 to call on local numbers in China while Rs 30 to call in Nepal from India.

Likewise, users are charged Rs 50 per minute to receive calls from Nepal in China and Rs 14 in India.
