Biplav ‘concerned’ over ‘baseless news’



KATHMANDU: The Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party has raised serious concern over what it said ‘series of fictitious and baseless’ news reports aimed at defaming the party.

Issuing a statement today, the party said ‘planned’ news reports have been disseminated against the party.

“Disseminating fake news aimed at tarnishing the party’s image is not journalism,” the party statement said.

The party has also urged all media houses to refrain from disseminating fake news against the party.
