INARUWA: Property worth Rs 2 million was destroyed after a fire broke out in a house in Sunsari Harinagar Rural Municipality -4 in Sunsari district.

According to District Police Office, Sunsari a fire started in a house belonging to Bijaya Jain due to short-circuit, in which property worth Rs 2 million was gutted.

Clothes, grocery items and other belongings were destroyed in the fire that broke out last night, said DSP Gyanendra Phuyal.

The fire was doused by locals and fire engines brought from Inaruwa and Itahari Sub Metropolitan City.
