Gyanendra Shahi taken to Kathmandu for further treatment

CHITWAN: Anti-corruption campaigner Gyanendra Shahi injured in an alleged attack by students of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been taken to Kathmandu to further treatment.

Shahi was sent to Kathmandu through a flight of Yeti Airlines after doctors attending to him suggested further treatment.

He was attacked inside a microbus Ba 3 Kha 45 and has sustained injuries in his head, legs and different parts of his body.

All the windshields of the vehicle were shattered in the attack.
