Pokhara Metropolis office unlocked



POKHARA: The office of Pokhara Metropolitan City (PMC) padlocked by the disgruntled ward chair since Thursday has been unlocked after forging a consensus with PMC administration and Mayor.

A ward chair elected from the Nepali Congress (NC) had padlocked PMC office, expressing displeasure over the allocation of the budget as NC claimed that there was a disparity in budget allocation.

The PMC had unveiled the budget worth over Rs 7.54 billion, 36 percent of which has been allocated for the development of physical infrastructure.
