EPS results out; 12,009 get through (with list)

KATHMANDU:  The results of Korean Language Test held in the second week of June under the Employment System (EPS) has been published.

Of the total examines, who appeared in the exams for the year 2020, a total of 12,009 examinees have got through the exams. This number exceeds 10,050 – the quotas  for Nepali workers fixed by the Korean government. Those who have secured at least 37 have passed under agricultural category and 38 under manufacturing category.

A total of 92,356 applicants ( 77, 361 male and 14,995 female), 84, 215 had appeared for the Korean Language Test (KLT)  held in Kathmandu and Pokhara on June 7-8. Job aspirants aged between 18 and 39 had applied for the Korean jobs.

The Korean government is taking a total of 10, 050 Nepali workers – 7050 for manufacturing sector and 3,000 agricultural sector –  through this exam for the year 2020.

According to EPS Korea section, a total of 82,335 people had appeared for the KLT last year.

The Nepal government has been sending workers to South Korea under EPS since 2008.

The Korea government is a lucrative labor destination. The examinees can put either their date of birth or passport number and follow instructions to see their results.
