Fast-tract delayed as govt fails to approve DPR on time

KATHMANDU: The construction of fast-track has been hit after the government dillydallied in approving the detailed project report (DPR).

The Council of Ministers has been lingering to approve the DPR of the fast-tract which is being carried out by the Nepal Army (NA).

The NA had sent the DPR to the Cabinet through the Ministry of Defense in March.

The Development and Technical Committee of the Parliament has directed the government to approve the DPR at the earliest.
